A ghost's main weakness is water, and presumably any other liquid,^[1] which will send ghosts back to the Cursed Realm if distributed in a large enough quantity.^[2] However, due to the Cursed Realm's destruction, all ghosts would be sent to the Departed Realm.

Ghosts' invisibility can be countered by a paranormal essence detector,^[3] which allows a normal human to see a ghost even if invisible.^[4]

If a ghost remains outside of a vessel, such as a body or having been tied to the Temple of Airjitzu, or an afterlife realm like the Cursed Realm by a certain amount of time, they will pass over to the Departed Realm.^[5]
