제 2차 세계대전의 벌어진 이별과 슬픔, 그리고 작은 희망을 담아낸 음악

이 음악으로 유명한 영국 출신의 가수, '베라 마거릿 린' 은 이집트, 인도, 미얀마 등지를 날아다니며 수많은 위문공연을 다녔으며, 그로 인해 군인들에게서 'The Forces' Sweetheart'  라는 별칭으로 불렸다고 한다.

베라 린은 향년 103세의 놀라운 나이로 2020년 6월 18일
